If a cyclist cannot participate, he HAS to contact the Fondation to discuss applicable terms depending on the situation (transfer of payment -to following year or other participant- or refund)
Each participant commits to bringing in $1,000 by September 8, 2022—in the case this objective is not met, the Foundation reserves the right to refuse to allow a cyclist to participate
The activity will take place even in the case of rain
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are in proper physical condition to take part in the 300 km for LIFE Bike Challenge
All first-time participants must attend one of the three “Riding in a Peloton” training sessions offered by the Foundation—the dates will be made available shortly
Each participant recognizes that taking part in a cycling activity involves real dangers and risks of injury and accidents, and declares that they are aware of the nature and scope of said dangers and risks, and freely and voluntarily accepts them
Each participant accepts that the route and distance of 300 km for LIFE is subject to change at any time prior to the beginning of the event
By participating in the event, you agree to participate at your own risk and you hereby release The 300 km for LIFE Bike Challenge, the employees and the Fondation Cité de la Santé from any liability for any claim made against it, its sponsors, its volunteers and its partners in relation to any personal injury, death or property damage resulting from your participation in the MY 300 Challenge...for LIFE.
