Sortie Salut Champion – SOS Démolition 2026
La Sortie Salut Champion - SOS Démolition 2026 est une initiative citoyenne portée par un groupe de bénévoles qui se mobilisent pour partager un moment ensemble autour d’une cause qui leur tient à cœur. Cette activité n’est pas organisée par la Fondation Santé Outaouais.
Il s’agit d’un rassemblement spontané, sans objectif formel de collecte de fonds, mais qui permet à celles et ceux qui le souhaitent de contribuer à la cause du cancer, ainsi qu’à la santé et aux services sociaux en Outaouais.
Pour assurer une gestion sécuritaire et transparente des contributions, les dons peuvent être effectués via la plateforme officielle de la Fondation Santé Outaouais. Les sommes recueillies seront ainsi administrées conformément aux normes en vigueur et directement au bénéfice de la mission de la Fondation.
Depuis plus de 10 ans, l’équipe Salut Champion s’implique fièrement auprès de la Fondation Santé Outaouais afin de soutenir la lutte contre le cancer, ici, chez nous.
Fondée il y a 14 ans en mémoire du père d’un ami, qui nous accueillait toujours avec son chaleureux « Salut champion », l’équipe est devenue au fil des ans un symbole de solidarité, de persévérance et d’engagement communautaire.
Touchée personnellement par la maladie au cours des dernières années, l’équipe choisit de poursuivre cette tradition en 2026 en lançant sa propre campagne de financement : la Sortie Salut Champion – SOS Démolition.
Le but premier de l’équipe est de continuer à soutenir la cause et de mobiliser les gens de l’Outaouais à bouger ensemble le 20 juin 2026, en mémoire ou à l’honneur des combattants et combattantes de cette terrible maladie.
Salut Champion propose une formule inclusive et accessible à tous :
Date : Samedi 20 juin 2026
Lieu : Parc du Lac Leamy
Inscription : Gratuite
Horaire : Aucun départ fixe — Rassemblement pour dîner à midi au lac Leamy.
Activités : Marche, vélo, course à pied, patin à roues alignées ou autres activités de votre choix
Parcours : À vous de le créer – De nombreuses pistes cyclables entourent le lac. Profitez‑en pour tracer votre propre parcours de 2, 5, 15, 21, 50 ou même 100 km, selon votre rythme et votre défi.
Que vous soyez débutant ou athlète aguerri, vous êtes invités à participer à votre rythme, en solo ou en groupe. L’objectif n’est pas la performance, mais la solidarité.
Notre mission
La Sortie Salut Champion vise à :
• soutenir concrètement la lutte contre le cancer en Outaouais;
• financer des soins et des équipements essentiels pour notre communauté;
• honorer les personnes touchées par le cancer;
• rassembler familles, amis et collègues autour d’une cause porteuse d’espoir.
L’inscription est gratuite et chaque participant est invité à créer sa propre campagne de financement afin de mobiliser son entourage. Chaque kilomètre parcouru devient un geste de soutien.
Pourquoi participer ?
Parce que le cancer nous touche tous, de près ou de loin.
Parce que les dons amassés seront investis ici, en Outaouais, pour aider des gens d’ici.
Parce que l’espoir ne s’achète pas — il s’offre à travers des gestes comme celui ci.
En 2026, continuons de bouger et de nous mobiliser pour la cause.

Salut Champion Outing – SOS Démolition – 2026
The “Salut Champion” Outing – SOS Démolition 2026 is a community-driven initiative led by a group of volunteers who come together to share a meaningful moment around a cause close to their hearts. This activity is not organized by the Fondation Santé Outaouais.
It is a spontaneous gathering with no formal fundraising objective, but it offers those who wish to do so the opportunity to contribute to the fight against cancer, as well as to health and social services in the Outaouais region.
To ensure secure and transparent management of contributions, donations can be made through the official platform of the Fondation Santé Outaouais. The funds collected will be administered in accordance with established standards and will directly support the Foundation’s mission.
For more than 10 years, the Salut Champion team has proudly supported the Fondation Santé Outaouais in its fight against cancer, right here in our community.
Founded 14 years ago in memory of a friend’s father—who always welcomed us with his warm and familiar “Salut champion”—the team has grown over the years into a symbol of solidarity, perseverance, and community engagement.
Personally affected by the disease in recent years, the team has chosen to carry on this tradition in 2026 by launching its own fundraising campaign: the Salut Champion Outing – SOS Démolition.
The team’s primary goal is to continue supporting the cause and to mobilize people across the Outaouais region to get moving together on June 20, 2026, in memory of, or in honour of, the fighters and survivors of this terrible disease.
Salut Champion is offering an inclusive and accessible format for everyone:
Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Location: Lac Leamy Park
Registration: Free
Schedule: No fixed start time — participants are asked to return to the starting point by noon
Activities: Walking, cycling, running, inline skating, or any other activity of your choice
Route: Create Your Own – Numerous bike paths surround the lake. Take advantage of them to design your own route of 2, 5, 15, 21, 50, or even 100 km, at your own pace and according to your personal challenge.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned athlete, you are invited to participate at your own pace, solo or as part of a group. The goal is not performance, but solidarity.
Our Mission
The Salut Champion Outing aims to:
• provide tangible support for the fight against cancer in the Outaouais region;
• fund essential care and medical equipment for our community;
• honour those affected by cancer;
• bring together families, friends, and colleagues around a cause that offers hope.
Registration is free, and each participant is encouraged to create their own fundraising page to mobilize their network. Every kilometre covered becomes a gesture of support.
Why Participate?
Because cancer affects us all, directly or indirectly.
Because the funds raised will be invested right here in the Outaouais region, to help people in our community.
Because hope cannot be bought — it is offered through gestures like this one.
