Parking: When you arrive, use the roundabout as a drop-off area (RBC Pavilion) at the main site to drop off your belongings. Afterwards, return to park at the Cabane à Tétreault, at 3355, boul. Laurier (700 metres from the site).

Registration: Registration: Go to registration (Assistance Dog Accommodation) give your presence and pick up your jersey. It will be possible to change on site in one of the tents at your disposal. You will also have the option of leaving your personal belongings in a trailer provided for this purpose.

Donations to give: for those who did not reach their goal by the morning of the hike, this is when you can donate the missing donations. If some of the donations you make are accompanied by a request for a tax receipt, it will be important to leave this information at the donation table. Equipment and repairs: you must be independent for repairs (puncture, adjustment, etc.). However, a mechanical service and the coaches will be able to give you a helping hand the same morning before departure.

Determine your average speed: Average speed is how fast a group cruises during an outing. If you choose, for example, an average speed of 20km / h, you should expect to drive more than 20km/h on flat roads to compensate for the unevenness, the wind, the quality of the road following the various slowdowns that may occur on the road. course. Make sure you are able to maintain a cruising speed above 20 km/h the entire distance.

Departures: Departures in small platoons of 12 to 15 cyclists will be formed according to distance and average speed. Signs indicating this information vis-à-vis the start will be installed. 15 minutes before departure, gather near these signs. We will start the pelotons in order from fastest to slowest. Two minutes will separate the start of each of the pelotons.

Supervision is provided throughout the hike:

  • Rear vehicles that will escort the pelotons throughout the hike

Supplies and meals: In each of the vehicles that will escort the pelotons, a supply bin will be available (fruit, granola bars, water, etc.) We will not have water bottles, but devices allowing you to fill your bottle. For dinner, healthy lunch boxes will be provided at the Saint-Césaire farm!
