1. If I register for the event but decide not to participate, what are my options?
If you are unable to participate for any reason, you can choose one of the following options:
Have someone else take your place;
Convert your registration fee into a donation to the Fondation Martin-Matte and receive an official tax receipt.

2. What is the registration deadline?
The registration deadline is midnight on February 2, 2026.
3. As a participant, if I haven’t reached my personal fundraising goal of $325 by event day, can I still take part?
If your team has raised $1,300 or more, you can participate even if your personal goal hasn’t been met. However, if your team hasn’t reached the minimum amount of $1,300, none of your team members will receive their bibs.
4. Can we participate in the challenge even if our team has fewer than four members?
Yes, but your team must still raise the minimum amount of $1,300 to participate.
5. Is this a relay marathon, or can I ski with my teammates at the same time?
This is not a relay event. All members of the same team can ski simultaneously.
6. Can we ski on all the trails at Sommet Saint-Sauveur?
Yes. Participants have access to the entire skiable area of the mountain.
7. Will the trails be open to people who are not participating in the event?
Yes.
8. Can I access the event site at Sommet Saint-Sauveur for free if I’m not a participant?
Yes. Visitors are welcome.
9. Can I get a tax receipt for my registration fee?
Registration fees are not tax-deductible. You will only receive a transaction receipt.
10. Do participants under 18 years old have to reach a fundraising goal of $325?
No. The personal fundraising goal for participants aged 12 to 17 in the Sommet Saint-Sauveur and At-Home challenges is $175.
11. Am I eligible for the contest if I benefited from the early bird registration rate?
Yes.
12. If I participate in the At-Home challenge, can I form a team with participants registered for the Sommet Saint-Sauveur challenge (and vice versa)?
Yes, you can create a hybrid team. In this case, the fees, goals, and rules specific to each challenge must be respected by each participant.
13. How can I register to volunteer on event day?
To add your name to the volunteer list, please send an email with your contact information and availability to admin@fondationmartinmatte.com. A team member will contact you within a few days following your request. As spots are limited, you will be placed on a waiting list.
14. If the event is canceled, will I be refunded?
Yes. In the event of cancellation, all participant registration fees will be fully refunded automatically. Alternatively, you may choose to convert your registration fee into a donation to Fondation Martin-Matte and receive an official tax receipt. To do so, contact us at admin@fondationmartinmatte.com.
15. If the event is canceled, what happens to the donations raised?
No refunds will be issued for donations. All donations raised will be transferred to Fondation Martin-Matte.
16. Is it possible to rent ski or snowboard equipment?
Yes. The Sommet offers a 50% discount on equipment rentals for Les Beaux 4 Heures participants. Contact them quickly to book your gear. You will need to provide your weight, height, and shoe size.
